Western Digital 2TB Hard disk 64MB Buffer

Western Digital is going to announce the latest 2TB Caviar Black comes with 64MB Buffer Memory on this coming week. According to the source, this latest product will have a working speed of 7200RPM and support the SATA 3Gbps. The power consumption will also have big improvement compare to their existing hard disk in the market.

The current highest end Caviar Black is 1TB WD1001FALS and with only 32MB buffer memory. The source expects the retail price will be around 300 bucks.
