Two days ago, Google was having a big update of the Page Rank algorithm. From what we observed, many famous web sites have a great fall from the new algorithm. But, more people wonder whether it is really just the changes of algorithm. Or, it is some sort of punishment towards those web sites that buying links or selling links.
Below listed out some of the web sites:
- Engadget (drop from 7 to 5)
- AutoBlog (drop from 6 to 4)
- Problogger (drop from 6 to 4)
- Copyblogger (drop from 6 to 4)
- Search Engine Journal (drop from 7 to 4)
- Quick Online Tips (drop from 6 to 3)
- Search Engine Roundtable (drop from7 to 4)
- Blog Herald (drop from 6 to 4)
- Weblog Tools Collection (drop from 6 to 4)
- WashingtonPost.com
- Forbes.com
- Blog Herald
- StatCounter
- JohnChow (drop from 6 to 4)
The result quite surprise because even web site like Washington Post and Forbes or even Engadget are suffering such update.
