Corsair released 256GB SSD

Corsair, a market leading Flash memory manufacturer, recently announced of their latest 256GB solid state drive SSD. This product is SATA 3.0 Gbps and used Samsung MLC flash memory.

In the early stage, the price is still astonishingly high. You can find them on some online stores for around $700. Unless you are eagerly to build a very high performace PC, you definitely love this stuff. Corsair lab has tested and shows performance of this hard disk able to provide 25% longer battery life when use in laptop.

Wait for a while for the price drop. I expect more 256GB SSD products from other manufacturers are coming soon in Q3.
