Recent study shows that China has taken down 30% of the MP3 player market worldwide. But the designs of China mp3 players are look very similar to either Apple iPod or Creative Zen or some mobile phone design. Sometimes I wonder, China has how many own original design.

Lately, Shenzhen Smart has released a 2” LCD mp3 player MP4-2010A. From the casing, it has exactly the similar buttons to Sony Ericsson W810 mobile phone. Besides that, this player has the same functionality as most of the players in China market. It plays MPEG, WAV, ASF, MOV AVI, WMV and WMA format. It has a built in speaker and FM radio functionality.

iPhone SDK February 2008

Thursday 18 October 2007 @ 11:17 pm

Today, Apple CEO Steve Jobs posted an open letter on their web site mentioning that Apple will release a SDK for iPhone and iPod Touch. Let me explain SDK stands for software development kit. It is a tool to let software developers to develop applications based on the standard example and API released by the suppliers. Without the SDK, software developers will not have the proper platform to develop software, but they could do it by illegally hack into the system.

So, hacking isn’t what Apple wants to see, they also can’t any stand the pressure from the community. With the SDK, more cool software will be released in the next 6 months, which would definitely boost the sales of iPhone.

Zune version “Get a Mac”

Sunday 17 December 2006 @ 6:00 pm

A “Get a Mac” spoof video clip by Microsoft. Microsoft claims that it is easier to upload music onto Zune with just one simple click than Ipod. And not so easy to be scratched than Ipod too. But I still think getting a brown color Zune is not a good idea. There should be other better color for Zune to be.
